Next up was Shakers vs Phuketeers, which was bound to be a very physical game packed with energy. Although very even in the first half, a solid and energetic Shakers squad soon started putting plenty of goals in the nets with the Phuketeers tiring and missing a few players still. Final score 10-2 to Shakers FC.
Next up, Nanai Boy vs Joy Dive FC: Another high-paced game between two skillful teams. The game was very even and level 2-2 until 10 minutes before the end when Joy Dive picked up the pace and slotted two more goals to put them on the top of the table alongside Rugantino.

- Relegation and Promotion
Top team from division two will be promoted into division one after season end, while bottom team from division one will be relegated to division 2. Position #2 from division 2 and position #5 from division 1 will playoff for a place in the first division. - Double Round Robin
The leagues will be played as a double round robin, so each team will be playing each other twice, with a total of 10 matches per team. The league should finish the 27th of June, if all goes according to play. - Wednesday (+Tuesday) Matchday
5 games will be played every week on Wednesdays, while one game from second division will normally be played on Tuesdays. This is because we can only fit 5 games into one day, unless the two teams scheduled to play Tuesday instead wish to play very late kick off 10.30PM on Wednesday. - Referee and cards

This season, we will have a stricter policy on players, numbers and squads. Each team must present a list of players with shirt numbers before match day 2. Each team may use up to a total of 12 players throughout the season, and no players are eligible to play for more than one team. - Postponing Games
It is possible to postpone a game under special circumstances if notified 48 hours before kickoff.

Songkran Soccer 7s
Morning Star made it to the finals of the Masters category, where they got beaten 4-0 by Emirates Colour Services from Dubai. Slightly unfortunate, as Morning Star beat the same team in the group stages 8-2!
In the opens, the Phuket teams Shakers and Italians fought it out in the semi-finals … Several missed by Sadulla Saipov (Sam), should have put Shakers ahead, but instead it was the Italians that scored the only goal if the game to proceed into the finals.
In the finals, the Phuket Italians were up against Dubai’s Smart Communications. The Italians first went down 0-1, and were kept at bay for most of the game, until Jajopo Jajo scored an amazing goal for the Italians to bring the game into extra time. From here, the Italians scored a “golden goal”, and won the game 2-1. Congratulations to Phuket Italians!

Super Six, Final Day Season 01
Morning Star – Shakers FC 5 – 3
Definitive match of the day, and climax of the season just happened to be the clash between the two top teams in the league, Morning Star and Shakers FC. Before the final round of the league, Morning Star were in pole position to win the league, but Shakers FC still had a chance if they beat Morning Star by six goals. Although a very ambitious target, Shakers FC certainly had this in mind when they entered the pitch, and there was a great amount of prestige in this game.
So the game kicked off, and it was clear from the first minute that neither of the teams intended to loose this game. The game came alive in a bang as none of the teams allowed space or time for the other team to manoeuvre. However, it was Morning Star who started off best with some nice combinations leading to a goal by Pedro Carrera. Shortly after, Morning Star went further ahead when Einar Bangstad turned off a man with back to goal, and slipped a left-legged shot into the top left corner … 2-0! Morning Star thought they were in control, but Shakers appeared to be a team that never gave up, something that yielded results: After a corner kick for Shakers, Lee Turner blasted the ball into the nets from distance, and shortly after, another solid shot from Jon Wiegand made it 2-2 and all the excitement was back in the game. Close to the end of the first half, Morning Star made an error, and Shakers FC capitalized with another unexpected long shot by Mikael Lundin, making it 3-2 to Shakers FC before the break – Shakers had turned the tables!
Second half started at same pace as the first, and the game bobbed back and forth in a very loud and physical manner. Shakers FC were on top, and kept frustrating the Morning Star team, not allowing anything to get through. However, in the middle of the second half, Shakers FC had one player sent off for several dangerous tackles, and suddenly Morning Star was at advantage. They started besiegement of the Shakers goal, and were rewarded with a goal by Einar Bangstad after a cross-pass by Karl Ward, 3-3. Then, following a chaotic incident in front of the Shakers goal, Simon Smith headed it in to make it 4-3. Shortly before the end, Einar Bangstad struck a free kick directly into the goal, seemingly through a gap in the wall. End score 5-3 to Morning Star.
Congratulations to Morning Star, winners of the Super Six League season 1!
Phuket Serenity Villas – Pita Bar Phuketeers 0 – 4
In the second game of the day, The Phuketeers went in to the game looking for 3 points against PSV to secure 2nd or 3rd position in the league. Both teams started strongly but few chances were created before Aaron Bichler came off the bench and struck in the bottom corner to make it 1-0 to Phuketeers at the break. Carl Brain then added a second to double the lead, as PSV created openings but were unable to beat Lolo Cosmelli Pns, who had a great performance in goal for the Phuketeers. As PSV attacked more and tired, the Phuketeers scored twice more through Yannik Christll and Aaron Birchler. Even with German wunderkind Sascha Wondruschka back on the pitch, PSV failed to claim any goals in this game. Final score 4-0 to Phuketeers, who snatched 2nd spot in the league after Nanai Boys and Shakers failed to acquire any points from their respective games.
Ristorante Rugantino – The Lounge 5 – 6
Third game of the day saw The Lounge and Rugantino fight it out in what became a very exciting game. While Rugantino had nothing to fight for, already having secured 5th spot, The Lounge were eager to get themselves out of the rut into a respectable 8th spot. The Lounge took the lead with a goal by Phil Hailstone, before Rungatino pulled goals back by Stig Edvardsen and Alberto Mancuso. The Lounge then followed up with goals by Jonathan Crockett and Siajo Otieno, before Rugantino again equalized before the break. In the second half, The Lounge went two ahead before Rugantino pulled back two goals, 5-5. At the very end, The Lounge snapped a last-gasp goal to win the game and get 3 important points, taking them to 8th spot on the table.
Babynoname – Aladdin Friends 6 – 8
A scrappy game between the two teams at the bottom of the table, as Aladdin Friends played many of their youth players for this game. The game bobbed back and forth with both teams mostly keen on attacking, and not so interested in defending, which of course lead to many goals. It was Babynoname however who took the intiative and were up 3-1 before the break. As the goals continued to pour through, it was however Aladdin who stepped up and scored the most goals. Final score 8-6 to Aladdin Friends.
Eden FC – Nanai Boys 4 – 3
Last game of the evening was supposed to be a straight-forward affair for the Nanai Boys, where 3 points would secure the 2nd spot in the league. However, the Eden FC boys wanted it differently. The game started out pretty even, with the strong Nanai Boys team by no means outplaying Eden FC, who were passing the ball well. It was Eden who took the lead with a shot by Suvat Deangprom. However, the Nanai Boys looked strong as usual and were awarded with goals by Sadulla Saipov and Ryan Adekoya. Although it seemed like Nanai Boys had their grip on this game now, instead it was Eden FC who went ahead with an exceptional header at an impossible angle by Joseph Arimathea, making it 3-2 to Eden FC at the break. Second half and Nanai Boys pushed forwards, but couldn’t seem to squeeze through any goals until Aniel Debie equalized the score to 3-3. Continuing the push forwards however, left Nanai Boys vulnerable in defense and Eden FC were to take advantage of this: In the dying minutes of the game, Joseph Arimathea was allowed to stroll towards the Nanai Boys goal unchallenged, as his shot went into the bottom left corner of the goals. Final result 4-3 to Eden FC, who continued their climb to end on a respectable 6th spot, whilst Nanai Boys blew their chances to end in 2nd.
